Bel-Ray Racer Millsaps Continues Podium Streak at

Monster Energy Phoenix Supercross

Retains Red Plate as Series Points Leader

FARMINGDALE, N.J. (January 14, 2013) •li> Davi Millsaps, Bel-Ray racer and Rockstar Energy Racing Suzuki team member, continued his excellent start to the 2013 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series by finishing on the podium in third place at round two of the series held on Jan. 12, 2013 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz.

Millsaps began the main event in second place and kept the race leader Barcia within striking position for a majority of the twenty lap race. With three laps remaining, Millsaps slipped to fourth but was able to take advantage of a mistake by Trey Canard to score his second podium finish in this second race of the series.

With forty-five points, Millsaps retains his series points lead and is currently six points ahead of Saturday night‘s winner Justin Barcia.

Other Bel-Ray sponsored racers in the 450 class main event included Chaparral Honda Team’s Andrew Short, who finished ninth, and RCH Racing Team’s Broc Tickle, who finished twelfth. Both riders experienced poor starts in the main event and were forced to pass several other riders on the way to their overall finish.

In the 250 class event, Rockstar Energy Racing Suzuki team member Ryan Sipes raced to top ten finish, with a seventh place finish. By virtue of his finishes at the first two rounds of the 2013 series, Sipes is fourth place in the series standings.
