ELECTRIC START CR500 PROJECT HUSQVARNA: TWO-STROKE TUESDAY

Last week we showed you a behind the scenes look at out CR250 project with Faster USA. This week we are going to give you another behinds the scenes look at a two-stroke we are building with Jonny Weisman at The Ride Shop in Arizona. Billet aluminum cases, electric Start, Honda CR500 engine in a modern day steel frame! YES you are going to want to check this out.   We have products from Barnett Clutches and X-Brand Goggles featured in this week’s 2-Stroke Hardware while 2-Stroke Theater is packed full of RAW two-stroke videos from our YouTube channel.

The electric starter systems comes out of Canada and is made by a company called Panther Motorsports. It’s definitely trick and by no means easy on the wallet!

The brakes up front have some Cerakote and an oversized front Motomaster rotor kit. Those are complete SRT wheels bolted up to some very trick suspension components .

This will be a trick looking overflow canister.

The kick starter mechanism has been completely removed. This is just a taste of the special coatings the machine will have.

Completely TRICK! Billet case are almost a necessity now that CR500 parts are getting very hard to come by. Get out the credit card because these bad boys aren’t cheap.

There is a GPR stabilizer system on this build.

Here is a look at what will be powering the magical electric starter.

More custom parts.

Every two-stroke build needs a cone pipe and carbon fiber silencer! Scalvini makes it easy and their CR500 unit is the real deal. No FAKE NEWS here.
