Honda is still a year away from production on the new 450 MX bike. Sebastian Tortelli raced it in Japan once, but the bike was surrounded by a secret-service-like squad of Japanese technicians and guards. DIRT BIKE, however, managed to obtain this detailed photo of the new bike. The engine is wet-sump, although we can?t tell if it has a single or double overhead cam. The frame is slightly different from that of the two-stroke. Right now, Honda still won?t officially tell us anything about the bike, probably because the displacement isn?t finalized. Tortelli reportedly still prefers the two-stroke, but that?s no surprise?Doug Henry liked the two-stroke version of the YZ right up until he won his first race. Stay tuned for more details.
