With just one round remaining, Monster Energy/Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac was able to clinch his third consecutive title in the premier class for the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Marvin Musquin, Ken Roczen, Jason Anderson and Zach Osborne all put forth a valiant effort in postponing the inevitable of Tomac’s victory by putting in solid rides at Budds Creek, but to no avail. The battles for second, third and fourth all still reign on into next weekend with the smaller points gaps that fill in between those positions. Here’s how the points look going into the final round of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship: (for extended coverage of the 2019 Budds Creek National MX, click here)
