250 EAST SUPERCROSS STANDINGS AFTER EAST RUTHERFORD

After the East Rutherford round of AMA Supercross, the reset button was pushed on the 2019 250 Eastern Regional Championship. Going in, Austin Forkner had a five point advantage. Leaving, he was 22 point behind, with virtually no chance of winning the series that he had dominated through the first six rounds. A knee injury sustained in Nashville forced him out of the main event in New Jersey, handing both the win and the points lead to Chase Sexton. Now, there’s a single round left, and it’s another East West Showdown. Justin Cooper is 9 points behind, so to guarantee the title, Sexton only must finished fifth or better. Forkner is unlikely to race and no other rider has a mathematical chance of winning. For extended coverage of the East Rutherford Supercross in New Jersey, click here.
