MORE 2022 NEW MODEL PRICES: THE WRAP

Model year 2022 is here and showrooms are finally beginning to fill up.  We already have first looks from KTM, Husqvarna, Sherco, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Beta.  Honda has also released its 450s. So far, we have a mixed bag of some prices that are holding steady and others that are going up. Most KTM and Husqvarnas increased by $200.  A couple of Beta models went up even more, but on the other hand, the Xtrainer still is being offered at $7999.  Honda’s 450s (which are unchanged) will be arriving soon with unchanged pricing. The same goes for Suzuki and Kawasaki. The bikes that we are still awaiting are the Honda CRF250R (and CRF250X), which are rumored to have big changes, similar to those that the CRF450 received last year. Yamaha has been quiet, but is supposed to have a number of big changes for the 450. Here are updated prices that have been announced so far.

RALLY NEWS

Andrew Short is holding fifth place the in the Rally Kazakhstan.

Sadly, Skyler Howes is out of the 2021 Rally Kazakhstan on stage three. He had won the second stage and was leading the field when his rear mousse disintegrated. He rode for as long as he could before the tire came off the rim. The good news is that Andrew Short is still up and running, holding fifth place overall. His Yamaha teammate Ross Branch is the overall leader with two days to go.
