Dirt Bike Magazine got to participate in the 2022 KTM Junior Supercross Challenge on a personal level when Austin Tilley was accepted for Anaheim 1. Austin is the youngest son to Managing Editor Mark Tilley, who got his Anaheim initiation back in 1998 on a KTM 125SX. Today, the entire field is mounted on electric minis. Even the KTM big rig is fitted with solar panels giving the whole program a 21st century vibe, despite the fact that Anaheim Stadium has a legacy that goes back to the early years of Supercross and is currently the longest-running venue in the sport.
