2022 INDY SUPERCROSS RESULTS

Eli Tomac overcame a brutally deteriorating track in Indy to win his third race in a row in the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross season. Most of the race saw Justin Barcia out front of a tightly grouped pack. At one point, Jason Anderson passed for the lead, but then he and Barcia collided. That put Anderson back in seventh and Barcia back in the lead. From there on,  Tomac picked away at Barcia until taking the lead for himself in the closing laps. In the end, Anderson was sixth and Barcia was penalized 3 points for the collision. Anderson and Barcia are now tied for second place in the standings, 51 points behind Tomac. In the 250 East Division, Jett Lawrence had a real fight on his hands with Cameron McAdoo. The two of them went back and forth for about half the race before Lawrence established a small cushion.  RJ Hampshire was over 20 seconds back in third place.  For extended coverage of the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross season, click here.
