2019 FLORIDA PRO MX RESULTS: 250 QUALIFYING

The turnout for the Florida national is significantly lighter than we’ve seen at the first few rounds, with only 60 total riders riding qualifying this morning, but as the first practice sessions of the day got underway, Star Racing/Yamaha’s Justin Cooper jumped out to the early lead having a half second gap over his teammate Dylan Ferrandis and almost a full second over current points leader Adam Cianciarulo. Chase Sexton jumped to the top of the boards in the second timed qualifying session, but it was only good enough for the fourth quickest time behind Cooper, Ferrandis and Cianciarulo. In the B group qualifying, Martin Castelo took the quickest time, which would put him 24th overall in combined scores. Ramyller Alves was fastest in 250 group B session two, but Castelo remained fastest with his first qualifying time. Jordan Jarvis is making another run at qualifying for her first national, so be sure to watch out for her in the results. After qualifying, she sits 48th and will be headed to the consolation race for a chance to make it into the motos later on. Full qualifying results below.
