2019 D37 SPRINT ENDURO GLEN HELEN: ROUND 3 RESULTS

Round three of the 2019 AMA District 37 Sprint Enduro Series had a record breaking number of riders sign up and served as a qualifier to the 2019 Last Dog Standing Extreme Enduro. With the huge turnout the events start time was pushed back an hour and with a stacked pro field that included Trevor Stewart, Max Gerston, Jacob Argubright, Kendal Norman Alfredo Gomez, Justin Seeds, Ryan Surratt and whole lot more, racing action was intense to say the least.

JCR/Honda’s Trevor Stewart won 9/11 of the tests on the day, dominating the field.

Off-road Support’s Jacob Argubright has been proving this year how versatile of a rider he is, qualifying for the ISDE and battling for the National Hare and Hound championship. He brought his adaptability to Glen Helen and was able to finish fifth in the sprint enduro.
3BROS/SRT/Husqvarna rider Dalton Shirey remained the closest to Trevor Stewart all day, closing a minute sized gap down to just nine seconds in the final two tests, ultimately ending the day in second.
Rockstar Energy/Husqvarna’s Colton Haaker attacked the sprint enduro course in hopes of being able to start out front on Sunday. The Endurocross star collected solid times throughout the day, good enough for third overall.
Fresh off of a fourth place finish at the Erzberg Rodeo, Rockstar Energy/Husqvarna rider Alfredo Gomez decided to come try out Last Dog Standing. Since the sprint enduro serves as a qualifier for tomorrow, the Spaniard took to the course and finished seventh overall, putting him in a good starting position for LDS 2 tomorrow.
JCR/Honda’s Preston Campbell topped the LWT I AA class and finished eighth overall.

JCR/Honda took first in Women AA as well with Tarah Geiger’s stellar performance.
