2018 AUS-X OPEN SUPERCROSS RESULTS: ANDERSON WINS AGAIN

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Jason Anderson won the AUS-X OPEN Supercross with perfect 1-1-1 moto scores during the triple crown format in Qudos Bank Arena. Anderson was joined on the overall podium by privateer Husqvarna mounted Dean Wilson and Yamaha of Australia rider Dan Reardon.

Dean Wilson showed impressive speed at his first race in almost 9 months.
Dan Reardon was fast and consistent aboard his Yamaha.

Getting a good start in the opening moto, the Anderson took the lead in the early parts of the race and went on to secure the win. Moto two saw Anderson involved in a strong battle with fellow Husqvarna rider Dean Wilson. Pushing hard right to the finish, Anderson claimed victory to make it two wins in two motos. Getting the holeshot in the third moto, Anderson went on to wrap up the evening in Sydney with a perfect score of three wins.

Defending champion Justin Brayton was fast in qualifying but lacked consistency during the Triple Crown format.
