INTERMOT is a biannual trade show for motorcycle manufacturers. It started in 1998 and it quickly established itself as one of the most important shows in the industry. As is the case with most such shows it has trade and public days. Public days often have as many as 200.000 visitors.
In 2024 Intermot will take place from October 1st until October 6th. The Intermot 2024, like every year, will be aimed at retailers and end-users. The outdoor area will feature drag racing, spectacular stunts, and demo races. You can expect about 1000 exhibitors from over 40 countries.
Tokyo Motorcycle Show
Tokyo Motorcycle Show is an annual trade show held in Japan. It will be held from 22nd to 24th of March 24. It’s the 51st annual show and it’s at the Tokyo Grand Ruins. Manufacturers often use the Tokyo show to unveil their latest models and that’s expected in 2024 as well.
Tokyo is also especially proud of the custom bikes show. There’s a large custom bike subculture in Japan and it’s often the most engaging part of the show, at least for the visitors. It adds a level of creativity to the show that you couldn’t get from the latest models.
AIMExpo (American International Motorcycle Expo)
AIMExpo (American International Motorcycle Expo) is a major motor show in the US, held annually in a different city every year. In 2024 the event will be held in Las Vegas from the 6th or 8th of February. It’s the largest event in the industry at least when it comes to the North American market and it has a big impact on the motorcycle

Motorcycle Live is an annual motorcycle expo held in November in Birmingham, UK. It’s the largest industry event held in the UK and it features more than 50 major motorcycle manufacturers, key accessories, and clothing brands.

Moto Bike Expo is the world’s largest custom motorcycle show. It’s held in Verona, Italy every January and it’s the place to be if you’re interested in the industry as an insider or as a fan. It features 7 different pavilions, 720 exhibitors, and over 160.000 visitors.
Moto Bike Expo also organizes a contest for bike builders called MBE Award. Every panel of judges chooses the top ten bikes on display. The king of custom is a title awarded to the best-customized bike and every year the best bike continues to astonish visitors.
Barber Vintage Motofest
Barber Vintage Motofest is an event on a smaller scale than the others on our list. Founded in 2005, this 3-day event is held annually in Birmingham, Alabama. It features commercial vendors, vintage racing, a world-renowned swap meet, shows, and exhibitions.
Barber Vintage Motofest will take place in October of 2024. Vintage motorsports museum is always a fan favorite and most visitors use the Motofest to check it out even though it’s open and accessible throughout the year when it’s less crowded.
The Motorcycle Shows, Canada
The Motorcycle Shows are held in six Canadian cities every year. The shows are owned by Power Sport Services and showcase some of the world’s best bike manufacturers including KTM, Aprilia, Harley-Davidson, BMW, and many more.
It boasts more than 30.000 visitors per show. The circuit kicks off in Vancouver and ends in Montréal with stops in Edmonton, Calgary, and Toronto. Australian Motorcycle Expo
Australian Motorcycle Expo is held in six different Australian cities and it’s an annual event. In 2024 the Expo will be held in September. The event brings together professionals working in the motorcycle industry as well as enthusiasts who usually follow similar events all over the globe.
It’s the largest stage in Australia for motorcycle manufacturers to showcase their products and to mingle with the important names in the industry. The expo covers a wide spectrum of the motorcycling world, including various types of motorcycles (sport bikes, cruisers, off-road bikes), riding gear, accessories, and aftermarket products.
Brussels Motor Show
The Brussels Motor Show used to be a motor show that made our list every year, but unfortunately, it won’t be held in 2024. The Belgian-Luxembourg Federation for Cars and Two-wheelers (FEBIAC) has decided, through its Board of Directors, not to organize a Brussels Motor Show in January 2024.
While it was still ongoing Brussels Motor Show attracted as many as half a million visitors to Brussels and many manufacturers used the event to launch their latest models.
