Kurt Nicoll to race AZ Enduro Cross on a electric Alta motors Redshift MX machine
Kurt Nicoll, will be competing in Round 4 of the 2016 EnduroCross series on a Redshift MX electric powered machine. This is a first for Kurt, for Alta and for the EnduroCross series. Alta started working with Nicoll a few months back to develop the Redshift for EnduroCross competition, and they have been thrilled with the results. After countless hours on the Redshift, Nicoll said, “I’ve seen a lot of companies try to make an electric dirt bike before, but Alta is the first one to make a proper full size dirt bike, and it’s the real deal. The chassis feels just like the bikes I’ve been riding all my life, but with smooth manageable power delivery that will prove to be a weapon on the track.”
With 13 GP wins, seven British titles and two AMA supermoto championships under his belt, Kurt Nicoll has demonstrated time and again that he is one of the most dominant veteran riders in the field today. If you can’t make the event, keep an eye on our social channels as we’ll be sure to share the results from Arizona as soon as we have them. And if you want to see the broadcast, the race will air on CBS Sports October 13th, at 8pm.
